Modern computers and mobile systems do not work in this way, requiring the use of shaders as an intermediary so your system's GPU can perform the tasks that the GC and Wii GPU performed directly. The GC and Wii have no concept of shaders - everything is executed directly by the hardware without an intermediate programming language (API). Metroid Prime 2: Echoes (Metroid Prime: Trilogy) is one of the most susceptible titles to shader compilation stuttering. DolphinBar is another viable solution for this problem. It's a problem bound to PC hardware and driver, you can also try Bluetooth Passthrough, or follow this Wii Remote -TR Connection Guide anyhow to avoid the MS Bluetooth stack. Disable Enable Speaker Data to remedy this problem. Pressing a button on the Wii Remote will restore it, but it will disconnect again seconds later. When using the MS Bluetooth Stack (the default Bluetooth stack on Windows) the game will think that the Wii Remote is constantly disconnecting. The update also has higher resolution textures, and uses Trilogy's menus, save system, achievements, and unlockable soundtracks.Įmulation Information Constant Wii Remote Disconnects Metroid Prime 2 in Trilogy has been updated with many features from Metroid Prime 3, such as its aiming system, bloom rendering, 16:9 aspect ratio, and reduced difficulty level (to play the original difficulty, play "veteran" instead of normal). It features Metroid Prime, Metroid Prime 2: Echoes, and Metroid Prime 3: Corruption on a single dual-layer disc. Metroid Prime: Trilogy is an action-adventure video game compilation developed by Retro Studios and published by Nintendo for the Wii video game console. The widescreen codes do not work, I had to find a dolphin forum post to get the right ones.First-person action-adventure, First-person shooter, Action-adventure On a seperate note, someone should really fix the dolphin wiki when it comes to these two games. TFW people are running dolphin on their phones and I lag on a 12 year old game with a card that can handle AAA titles. I haven't tried without the shaders yet, nor have I tried with just vulkan, no shaders. I can't do Vulkan and Hybrid because I frame skip often and it's horrible so I'm doing dx11 and Hybrid Ubershaders. I am using the hybrid Ubershaders because my GPU can't handle the real ones. Just beat MP1, and am half way through echoes, but echoes is a little more demanding and I see dips into the 50's during certain fights, otherwise it's 60fps the whole way through. I'm running the game x3 native resolution without a problem. I feel like with how well developed dolphin is and my card not being the best, but not being shit tier either, I shouldn't be lagging when I bring up the map. Anyone having a similar issue or know any settings that might fix it? I know everything is default out of the box these days, but maybe someone knows something I don't. Only thing I found is some old Google Code issue that said it's an issue with the amd drivers (go figure!) and the dolphin team can't do anything to fix it. When I press the Z button to bring up the map, on particularly large maps, it lags real bad with frames dipping well below 20. No one seems to know anything about why this happens.
